Apple launched yet another amazing smartphone – the iPhone 11 Pro Max – on 27 September 2019. It looks like an incremental upgrade to the iPhone Xs but comes with various additional spectacular features as well. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 1,17,100 for its base variant with 64GB storage. This is the first time an iPhone has come with a triple rear camera set up which lets you choose between Wide, Ultra Wide, and Telephoto lenses. Inside the box, the iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with a 18W fast charger with a USB type-c port. The other accessories are the Apple ear pods with lightning connectors and a lightning to USB type-c cable.
The smartphone’s 6.5 inch super retina XDR display with 1242×2688 pixels resolution is stunning and will definitely give you the best viewing experience. The smartphone has a matte finish at the back which gives it a premium look and there is a glossy finish on the sides which makes the phone look a whole lot stylish and modern. The iPhone 11 Pro Max has a sculpted glass at the back and Apple has assured that it is the toughest glass that has been used in any smartphone. It has the IP68 certification for being dust, sand and water resistant. The device works properly even after being submerged up to a depth of 4 meter underwater for 30 minutes. Moreover, the phone stays protected against soda or any other sort of liquid. iPhone 11 Pro Max has dual speaker support and now comes with Dolby Atmos too. Wireless charging feature is available for sure and face unlock feature has been improved and is a lot more efficient and quick in this smartphone.
For heavy users with tons and tons of workload, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is the perfect choice. Its A13 Bionic chip’s performance is unbeatable and will handle everything you throw at it with ease. It can handle intensive gaming sessions without any lag or frame drops and editing 4K videos is not a big deal at all.
For a long time, iPhones have been criticized for their low camera performance but for the first time Apple has come up with a phone that not only competes but even surpasses the competition in terms of low light photography. iPhone 11 Pro max is backed by improved HDR and a brand new Night Mode, which means you get excellent image and video quality in most conditions.
There are tremendous improvements in the battery life and the smartphone lasts up to 1 day for even users with the heaviest of workloads. For a typical user, the phone is capable of lasting up to 2 days which is great.
The iPhone’s price is in no way justified and won’t be affordable for many buyers due to this reason. After paying over 1 lakh INR the buyer gets only 64GB of storage which is not at all satisfactory. But, actually that is the thing which makes Apple different from other brands in the market. Since the starting, Apple has never released any mobiles in the mid-range budget category and has always been affordable only by the rich. Over time, this has helped Apple and its logo achieve a premium feel. Now, people are willing to pay a premium for the smartphone regardless of whether it provides enough storage or exceptional battery life because it has become a status symbol and Apple is successfully exploiting this mindset to grow its business and profit. Of course, the quality of the smartphone is supreme but it is overpriced.
