Display and Design
The display is the same as that on the iPhone 12 with a notable difference being that the 12 Pro has a 800 nits (typ) brightness whereas the iPhone 12 has a typ. brightness of 625 nits. Both the smartphones have the same peak brightness of 1200 nits which is great.
It has a 6.1 inches Super Retina XDR OLED, HDR10, 1170×2532 res. display with 469 ppi density and a screen-to-body ratio of 86.0 %. The front notch does reduce the content consumption experience because it blocks the details. For content consumption the water-drop notch is my favorite. The display has a Shatter resistant Ceramic shield and an Oleophobic coating which makes it easy to wipe off the fingerprints. There is a contrast ration of 2 million:1 and colors look accurate. With the True Tone the display adjusts the brightness using the Ambient Light Sensor and your eyes won’t get tired looking at the screen for long hours. Other features include Dolby Vision and Wide color Gamut which display more lifelike colors.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro comes in Silver, Graphite, Gold, Pacific Blue color options and has dimenrsions 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4 mm (5.78 x 2.81 x 0.29 in).
