Game streaming technology allows you to play games without needing a gaming console or ultra-fast gaming computer. It involves powerful remote servers which do the heavy lifting so that you can play games even on a modest phone, tablet, PC or a smart TV.
When it was launched Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming was only available on tablets and smartphones running Android. Later on, they launched a web app that made it available on iOS devices and PCs. Soon it will be available on Xbox App for Windows.
What does this integration mean?
When the game streaming technology comes to the Xbox App, you can turn any Windows computer into a gaming computer without actually having to open a web browser. You only have to connect a game controller (wireless or wired) to your PC, launch the Xbox app and then click the Cloud Games Button.
