Samsung has announced that its Galaxy M42 5G will launch on 28th April. The official spec sheet has not been revealed yet. Nevertheless, there are rumors that the phone is a real beast with powerful M series hardware and A series software.
The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G leaked images specify an AMOLED infinity-u display and a square rear camera cut-out. The back of the phone is exactly similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy F62 with the same design (layered gradient), same build (plastic) and the same camera cut-out. Images show that the Smartphone does not have a side or rear mounted finger print scanner which makes it clear that the Galaxy M42 5G comes with a good quality AMOLED screen. Also, the design is the same as that is seen on the Samsung Galaxy F62 with a layered gradient finish.
Being a 5G Smartphone it is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 5G SoC. Also, it might come with the latest Android 11 out of the box while the storage and RAM details have not been revealed yet. Amazon has revealed that the Galaxy M42 will have Samsung Pay, ALT Z life and Knox security software features. Knox security will be both hardware and software oriented.
It might boast a 64MP primary rear camera, a 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and it is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 25,000. More information about the device will be available shortly in the following week.
