Samsung M31: Worthful Device
The front of the phone has an 64-inch AMOLED infinity-U display which gets a waterdrop style notch over the screen. The 6.4-inch super AMOLED display is perfect for watching movies, editing videos and reading epapers. The display is bright, colourful and perfect for watching HDR videos. That’s typical of a Samsung AMOLED display. Flip the phone, and you will notice the rectangular camera bump on the top left. This setup is similar to that of the Galaxy S series. On the left side there’s the SIM tray, while on the right, there’s a power button and volume rocker. On the bottom, there’s a USB-C port, a speaker and a headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor is present at the back of the phone and gives super quick response.
Galaxy M31’s back panel is made of polycarbonate plastic which is durable and won’t take scratches that easily. Smartphones with glass build in the backside are more vulnerable to break on fall. The Samsung M31 here provides a solution to this and will be durable. The build quality is solid, though there is no waterproof rating. You can get the Galaxy M31 in Space Black and Ocean Blue color options.
And how long does the battery last on the Galaxy M31?
The Galaxy M31 is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that can easily get you through two days. A 15W bundled fast charger comes in the box along with the smartphone and will come handy .
What’s striking about the Cameras
Samsung has improved the camera quality on the Galaxy M31. On the back of the phone, you will find a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.8( Upto 8x Digital Zoom) lens, a 8 MP f/2.2, Wide Angle, Ultra-Wide Angle Camera(12 mm focal length, 4.0″ sensor size, 1.12µm pixel size) a 5 MP f/2.4 Camera(25 mm focal length, 5.0″ sensor size, 1.12µm pixel size) which is for close-up shots while the 5MP f/2.2, Depth Camera is capable of taking portrait shots with live focus.
Galaxy M31 has video capability with 4K recording and it supports slow-mo, Hyperlapse and super-steady modes. In addition, Galaxy M31 also has night mode for awesome low light photography. The 32MP front camera also supports 4K video recording and slow-mo selfies.
