Redmi 9 Power price in India has been set at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option of the phone carries a price tag of Rs. 11,999. In the global market the smartphone is expected to be priced around 120 EUR. The smartphone comes in four color options that are namely Blazing Blue, Electric Green, Fiery Red, and Mighty Black.

Display
It features a 6.53 inches FHD+ IPS display with 395ppi density, 83.4% screen-to-body ratio and 400 nits (typ) brightness. There is corning Gorilla Glass protection on the front. The sides are the back are made with pllastic frame and has a water repellent coating. There is no IP water resistant certification though.
Performance and UI
The performance is one of the best in this price range and has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 (12nm) Octa-core SoC. It runs Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top and equips Adreno 610 GPU for better gaming.
Storage/Memory
The Redmi 9 Power is offered in two configurations: 4GB/6GB and 4GB/128GB. The storage is expandable via dedicated microSDXC slot. The 64GB storage is based on UFS 2.1 whereas the 128GB storage is based on UFS 2.2.
Camera
There is a triple rear camera set-up and a single 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter in the U-cutout at the top center of the display. The triple cameras are arranged in a vertical manner in the top left and consists of a high res 48MP f/1.8 primary sensor, a 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle sensor(FOV 120 degrees) and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Bot the front and rear cameras can only record 1080p@30fps.
Battery
It packs a massive 6000mAh battery with a 22.5W fast charger in the box though the smartphone supports only upto 18W fast charging. The battery lasts 26hrs of 1080p video playback and if you are a mioderate user then this phone is going to back you easily for 2 days. The smartphone will take more than an hour to get fully charged. Though the smartphone packs a pretty huge battery the weight is still under 200g(198g). There is reverse charging support on the phone and also an ultra-battery saver mode.
